Commitment
Commitment is not an easy task. It is not something you grow into over time as you feel the situation around you. You must be willing to take the plunge into the pool even though you know the water will initially be cold. You must make the decision to commit. The same is true with regard to your commitment to God. Half a commitment is no commitment at all. You must not “practice” religion to see if it “fits” you. You must not “take a look” to see if the light of God is something you want flowing through your own life. You must look deep within yourself and take the dive off the end of God’s pool. You must be willing to take the risk, to endure the pain, to release worldly ties in order to emerge from God’s pool with a new enthusiasm and dedication in your life.
