Administration

It is common for those in executive roles to confuse the function of leadership with that of administration.  We have examined Leadership in some detail.   Now it is time to consider the administration’s three levels within the organization.  Those three levels include the Executive Level – Managerial  Level- Supervisory Level.  An executive must possess both leadership and administrative abilities to be a successful executive.  The broader their span of organizational responsibility the more leadership they must exercise.
