Each class represents a part of the total cost you are paying for college. This cost includes both the actual portion of the tuition you pay that is applied to this class, as well as the value of the time you spent attending the class and completing the work associated with that class. Remember, that even if you ignore the large amount you paid for the class, you lost the income you could have received had you worked rather than engaged in the class. Always remember there are those two costs to attending a class, the actual tuition as well as your lost time.
You may believe that the class you are taking is of no value to you. You may even be right based on the world you are in today. However, many students later find that the time in that course was brought value to their future life.
You must approach each class as if it is valuable. You must see it as an investment for which you will receive a return on the investment you are making. No increase in your knowledge will ever be valueless! Approach every class as if it brings some value to you even if that value will only be received further along your path in life.
Therefore, in this lesson, you will learn to ensure you work properly to receive a return on the investment you are making.
