In the next two lessons, you will use exercises that take a more analytical approach to determining your life balance. Before you do that, you must you must understand this process by viewing this video.
The exercise will be based on how you FEEL about your allocation of Life Energy Units to each of the six areas of your life. Compare your charts to see if your feelings match up with the more analytical approach used in the chart. If they were different why do you think they were different? Which do you think was more correct? If they were the same why do you think they were the same?
Watch The Video Below help you understand the role feelings play in determining what matters most. Once you have completed the video, drop down below the video and complete the exercise.
Exercise
After reading the information that follows, click on the link below to participate in the exercise associated with this topic. When you are finished you may press “Print” to print your results.
You must allocate a total of six-hundred life energy units for both your current life situation as well as what you expect for a time in your future.
Place the date you are aiming for to have made changes in your life balance in the Future Date box on the form.
Remember that how far in the future that time should be is governed not by what someone else might do, but by your life circumstances.
Possibly your life is unstable at this time allowing you only to predict a few months into the future. The key is, do not look beyond the time that you can be reasonably predictive of your future.
Once you have completed the exercise, observe the difference between now and the future as shown in the graphs. Consider the differences in the graphs.
That difference will provide you with some idea as to how much change you must undergo to reach the balance you have set for the future.
If the future is less than the current, that means you anticipate taking some Life Energy Units from that part of life. For example, if you have finished college, the amount of energy you place in education may decrease.
If the energy units in the future are greater than now, that means you must work harder in those areas to improve that area.
Remember to print this exercise chart so you can compare it to the ones in the next two topics.
